Funds Managed by the Jewish Community of Torino
The Torino Community manages several funds directly. Donations can be targeted to specific uses by giving indications to the administration office, or left to the discretion of the Council. Donations are handled differently from annual Subscriptions due by members.Isacco Levi Fund
This is for help and assistance to those in need and their families, whether they are members of the Community or not
Social Assistance Office
The Community’s Social office gives advice and direct help to people in difficulty due to work, health, finances, mobility or housing
Fund managed by the Head Rabbi
A fund available for the Head Rabbi to use at his discretion for assistance and other scopes
Beit HaKnesset
A fund that is used to maintain and embellish the singagogues
Fundraising for the Conservation of the Great Synagogue of Torino
Subsequent to debris falling from the cornice of the Great Synagogue and water ingress, a Fund for Urgent repairs was opened
Schools
The Junior and Primary school “Colonna e Finzi” and the Lower Middle school “Emanuele Artom” are the grant-assisted schools for the Jewish community of Torino. They are open to Jewish and non-Jewish children
Retirement Home
The Turin Communities Retirement Home “Salomon and Augusto Segre” is a structure specifically to host retired people who are independent, or fully or o partially not self sufficient
