Comunicato stampa UCEI del 29 aprile 2026 sulla più netta condanna di ogni forma di violenza da qualunque parte provenga.

The Union of Italian Jewish Communities expresses its strongest condemnation of all forms of violence, regardless of its origin. The arrest of a young man from the Jewish Community of Rome for the incident that occurred in the capital on April 25th is shocking and dismaying. We reiterate our solidarity with the victims of the attack in Rome and with all those who suffered violence, insults, and threats in various Italian cities on April 25th. The UCEI denounces the association of the alleged perpetrator with the Jewish Brigade. We once again forcefully denounce the climate of violence and intolerance that in recent months has replaced civil dialogue and freedom of expression.

The UCEI will monitor the investigation, confirming its full confidence in the institutions and law enforcement agencies, and will vigorously and at all times oppose anyone who intends to endanger the safety of Jews in Italy.
