A highly interesting meeting was held on May 25th, featuring lawyer Angela Stringa, President of the Women’s Municipal Council. During the event, the lawyer explained the Council’s work to those present, also explaining how her personal profession is intertwined with this important social commitment.

The meeting was an important opportunity for discussion: the Turin ADEI chapter presented its objectives and illustrated the concrete impact of its activities on the local community, focusing in particular on the awarding of the “Adelina Della Pergola” Literary Prize. On this occasion, the importance of an activity entirely dedicated, both in Italy and Israel, to supporting women, children, and families in need was strongly emphasized, with a crucial focus on reconstruction, as in the case of nursery schools.

It was a truly productive afternoon, characterized by a lively exchange of ideas and an attentive audience genuinely interested in the activities presented.

To round out the day, Ms. Stringa was accompanied on a tour of the Synagogue. The meeting concluded with the certainty of having sown the seeds for a future and fruitful collaboration between ADEI Turin and the Women’s Council, united in the common goal of supporting and enhancing women’s rights.
