Who are the Jews? If you feel like you don’t know enough, register on the online platform “Jews, These (Un)Known Ones”! Module by module, the course will guide you through the holidays of the calendar, rites of passage, and customs, discovering the many ways of experiencing Judaism, amidst differences and identities. You’ll discover the two-thousand-year-old Jewish presence in Italy, rich in history and stories.
And you’ll confront the main anti-Jewish prejudices, to recognize and combat them. Interactive, multimedia, and asynchronous, the course is packed with texts, images, videos, and activities designed to stimulate curiosity, reflection, and critical thinking. Don’t miss this opportunity!

The online course “Jews, These (Un)known Ones” was developed by the UCEI as part of the European project “D.E.J.A. – Digital Education about Jews and Antisemitism.”
The DEJA project is part of policies to prevent and combat antisemitism through knowledge and dissemination of Jewish culture and history and is funded by the European CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Value) program.
In addition to Italy, the countries involved are Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Spain and Sweden.
