New meeting in the “Afternoons at the Library” series:
“Young Samuel David Luzzatto between the Bible and Literature (1800–1829). In Honor of the Holy Language.”
The event will be dedicated to the figure of Samuel David Luzzatto (Shadal), one of the greatest intellectuals of 19th-century Italian Judaism.
Starting from the Shadal Collection preserved at the National Library of Italian Judaism “Tullia Zevi” and declared of notable historical interest by the Superintendency of Archives for Lazio, his youth, education and early works will be presented.

The meeting will be held in person at the National Library of Italian Judaism “Tullia Zevi” and will also be streamed live on the YouTube and Facebook channels of the Foundation for Jewish Cultural Heritage in Italy and on the website www.ucei.it
