The Stolpersteine (Stumbling Stones) are a widespread and participatory monument designed and created by German artist Gunter Demnig to commemorate the individual victims of Nazi and Fascist deportation.
To date, there have been over 100,000 Stolpersteine throughout Europe.
In Turin, 159 Stolpersteine have been installed to date, and there will be 174 when they are completed in 2026.
