Online meeting with the group Smol Emuni

Smol Emuni is a movement originating in Israel and now active in the United States. It seeks to create space within the Orthodox Jewish community for progressive perspectives on issues such as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the role of religion in public life. It works to provide a home for people who have been raised differently from those who express aggression and coercion, speaking so forcefully that it seems there are no other voices. Its commitment is to remind people that morality and Torah are directed toward the stranger, the orphan, and the widow, and to increase actions that promote compassion, justice, and peace.
Shulamit Furstenberg and other guests from Israel will participate in the meeting.
For those interested, there will be a chance to discuss and evaluate the possibilities and conditions for Italian Judaism to interact with this group, adopt their study model, and establish a potential connection with Smol Emuni.
