  • Liceo Alfieri,

Forty-five years after his passing, his classmates at the Vittorio Alfieri High School in Turin wish to remember Furio Jesi, a genius with many interests — a Germanist and Egyptologist, poet, historian, anthropologist, scholar of myth, and critic of right-wing culture — whose work continues to attract renewed editorial and academic interest.
To renew his memory and rediscover the relevance of his teachings, a meeting will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Alfieri High School in Turin, Corso Dante 80, from 4 to 7 p.m. His daughter Sofia Jesi will be present.
