Archivissima 2026 – What isn’t there. Papers and gaps at the Terracini Jewish Archive

This year, the Terracini Jewish Archives will once again participate in the Archivissima festival, taking place from June 4 to 7, 2026.
For this edition, dedicated to the theme “what is not there,” a short slideshow has been created that retraces some of the most significant losses suffered by the historical archives of the Jewish Community of Turin, particularly as a result of the bombings of 1942. Through surviving documents, indirect traces, and materials resurfaced over time, the contribution offers a reflection on how even what has not been preserved continues to leave its mark and contribute to the reconstruction of historical memory.
