New meeting in the “Afternoons at the Library”<\/i> series:<\/div>\n
\u201cYoung Samuel David Luzzatto between the Bible and Literature (1800\u20131829). In Honor of the Holy Language.\u201d<\/b><\/div>\n
The event will be dedicated to the figure of Samuel David Luzzatto (Shadal), one of the greatest intellectuals of 19th-century Italian Judaism.<\/div>\n
Starting from the Shadal Collection<\/a><\/b><\/span> <\/a>preserved at the National Library of Italian Judaism “Tullia Zevi” and declared of notable historical interest by the Superintendency of Archives for Lazio, his youth, education and early works will be presented.<\/div>\n
