On the occasion of Holocaust Remembrance Day<\/strong><\/p>\n

Leone Sinigaglia was a key figure in Italian musical history between the 19th and 20th centuries. Attentive to European experiences, he studied extensively in Vienna, was a friend of Brahms, and a student of Mandyczewski and Dvo\u0159\u00e1k.
\nHis experience as a musician turned tragic with the promulgation of the Racial Laws in 1938.
\nToday, he is at the center of a musical and cultural rediscovery that places him among the most important composers to study and perform.

QUARTETTO ARCHOS<\/strong>

\nThe Archos Quartet is an international string quartet formed in November 2009 at the University of Music in L\u00fcbeck. The quartet’s name derives from the Greek word “arch\u00e8” (Greek: \u1f00\u03c1\u03c7\u03ae, meaning “beginning,” “origin”), which represents the primal force that dominates the world. The Archos Quartet has participated in numerous chamber music courses and masterclasses, having the privilege of
\nworking with members of the Alban Berg Quartet, Belcea Quartet, Chilingirian Quartet, Cuarteto Casals, Endellion Quartet, Hagen Quartet, Henschel Quartet, Kuss Quartet, the Melos Quartet, Sirius String Quartet, Skampa Quartet, and Kwartet Wieniawski. It won 3rd Prize and the “Adolfo Betti” Special Prize for Best String Quartet at the Chamber Music Competition at the Virtuoso & Belcanto Festival in Lucca. It collaborates with the NAXOS and TACTUS record labels. D\u2019Auria, Soppi, and Fiore are members of the OSNRAI. <\/p>\n
