The contribution of Italian Jews to the construction<\/strong> of the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 1939, Hadassah Hospital was established on Mount Scopus in Jerusalem\u2014built, in part, thanks to Italian minds. Minds that Italy, during those very years, had decided to no longer regard as Italian.
\nThis conference, *Exile and Rebirth*, begins with a paradox: those driven from a place still find a way, elsewhere, to leave an enduring mark.
\nWe will recount the stories of Enzo Bonaventura, Enrico Emilio Franco, Anna Di Gioacchino Cassuto, and Roberto Bachi\u2014lives shaped by diverse backgrounds, spanning medicine, psychoanalysis, statistics, and laboratory research\u2014
\nlives scattered by exile, yet brought together again through this event. <\/p>\n
