Historical Games and History Teaching<br \/>\nSummer School for Teachers \u2013 3rd Edition<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #333399;\"><b>codice Sofia<\/b> <b>104683<\/b><b> <\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><b>Istoreto<\/b>, following the success of the previous two editions, is once again promoting a Summer School to introduce structured games and playful processes into the teaching and learning of history and citizenship education.<br \/>\nAimed at schools, this edition is part of the <b>Polo del &#8216;900&#8217;<\/b>s integrated project entitled <b><i>&#8220;Twentieth Century: Stories of Transitions and Rights,&#8221;<\/i><\/b> which focuses on <i>Historical Games<\/i> and the teaching of history, focusing on the transition from dictatorship to democracy through the Constituent Assembly and the promulgation of the Constitution<b>.<\/b><br \/>\nThe Summer School adopts an experimental and discussion-based approach. Workshops for different school levels offer different playful models: role-playing games, simulations, games based on source analysis and\/or participatory decision-making, path games, and Urban Games.<br \/>\nThis year&#8217;s <b>Summer School partners<\/b> are: the <b>Ferruccio Parri National Institute<\/b>, the <b>Center for the Study of Games and Play<\/b>, <b>LudoLabo<\/b>, and the <b>National Museum of the Risorgimento in Turin<\/b>, under the patronage of the <b>AIPH<\/b> (Italian Association of Public History). <\/p>\n<div class=\"et_pb_text et_pb_module et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_text_6\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\">\n<p><b>Final goals<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Interpret historical events in relation to constitutional values, select historical events suitable for designing a board game, analyze board games and adapt them to the educational context, provide innovative tools for teaching history.<\/p>\n<p><b>Methodology and operational tools<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Methodology: The Summer School combines theoretical frameworks, plenary discussions, workshops, and hands-on gaming sessions using digital applications.
