On Sunday, September 6, 2026, the twenty-seventh edition of the European Day of Jewish Culture returns throughout Italy. This year’s theme will explore one of Judaism’s core values: LOVE. It will be an opportunity to discover the many facets\u2014from love of neighbor and stranger to love of G-d\u2014of a commandment that is not limited to the individual but has collective implications, tied to the action, responsibility, and very institution of the Jewish people. <\/p>\n

\nThe Body as the Origin of Love: a historical journey through Jewish love poetry<\/em>. An inaugural lecture by Sarai Shavit (with Raffaella Scardi) dedicated to the evolution of the concept of love in Jewish poetry and the role of the body as the origin of poetic language. <\/p>\n

\nRuth Mussi will present some Midrashim<\/em>, typical tales from the rabbinic tradition, which will then be explored in depth in a conversation with Giuseppe D’Agostino, President of the Turin Center for Psychoanalysis (Italian Psychoanalytic Society).
\nIntroduction by Sarah Randaccio, psychoanalyst.<\/p>\n

ADEI Wizo will set up a stall inside the Social Center with Judaica items, Jewish cookbooks, novels, and grain bags. It will be possible to purchase sweets and hallot. <\/p>\n

\nA performance\/concert centered on the theme of the \u201cDybbuk\u201d and the legendary, fascinating figure of Shloyme An-Sky; created and performed by Miriam Camerini <\/span>(vocals), Angelo Baselli (clarinet), and Gianluca Casadei (accordion).<\/p>\n
