The Secretariat for Ecumenical Activities is organizing the 62nd Ecumenical Formation Session<\/strong>, scheduled for July 26 to August 1, 2026, at the Guesthouse of the Camaldoli Monastery<\/strong>.
\nThe 2026 edition will be dedicated to the theme: “Churches in Secularization: An Ecumenical Perspective.”
\nThe initiative brings together theologians, scholars, and representatives of various Christian denominations and interreligious dialogue to reflect on the relationship between faith, contemporary society, and cultural transformations.<\/p>\n

The week includes:
\nmeetings and conferences,
\nthematic workshops,
\nmoments of prayer and ecumenical celebrations,
\nactivities for young people, children, and families,
\nspaces for discussion between Christian, Jewish, and Islamic traditions.<\/p>\n

Topics addressed included:
\nsecularization and the life of the Church,
\necumenical and interreligious dialogue,
\nfamily and social change,
\nanti-Semitism and Islamophobia,
\nnew forms of religion in the contemporary world,
\npastoral creativity and the future of Christian communities.<\/p>\n

For over sixty years, the SAE Session has represented one of the main Italian events dedicated to ecumenism and dialogue between cultures and religions.<\/p>\n
