The “Shots of History”<\/strong> series returns: in-person lectures dedicated to great masters of photography who have captured crucial moments in Italian and international history and social change through their lenses, held on the occasion of the MEIS exhibition “Journey to Italy. Discovering Jewish Cultural Heritage.”<\/strong>
\nThe next event is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24th at 5:00 PM<\/strong> at the museum bookshop (Via Piangipane 81, Ferrara<\/a><\/span>). Two contemporary photographers, Silvio Wolf<\/strong> and Alberto Jona Falco<\/strong>, will present a preview of their work “Soglie.”<\/strong>
\nA two-voice narrative on the birth of an artistic project: from two-dimensional photographic images to the creation of an experiential space.
\nThe exhibition on \u201cThresholds\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/strong> was born from Alberto Jona Falco’s encounter with a work by Silvio Wolf and the reading of elements of reflection translated and interpreted in a Hebrew sense.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Silvio Wolf<\/strong> is an international artist known for his site-specific installations and lens-based works, which lead viewers to perceive a simultaneous past and present, a here and an elsewhere, a threshold and a coexistence of time and space.
\nBorn in Milan in 1952, Wolf studied Philosophy and Psychology in Italy and Photography and Visual Arts in London. His work has been exhibited in galleries, museums, and public spaces in Belgium, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Luxembourg, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States. <\/p>\n

Alberto Jona Falco<\/strong> is a photographer, image consultant, visual communications expert, event creator, art director, and teacher. Owner of the photography studio Studio Olimpic, he is the creator of a vast photographic archive on Jewish Italy. <\/p>\n
