Chanukah Concert with Raiz & Radicanto

MEIS, in collaboration with the Jewish Museum of Bologna, invites you to the traditional Chanukah concert, the Jewish festival of lights.
Performing in MEIS Bookshop are special guests: Raiz & Radicanto.
Radicanto, finalists for the Tenco Prize and in the Top Ten of the World Music Chart of Europe, will perform with Raiz, the legendary vocalist of Almamegretta and one of the unforgettable protagonists of the famous Rai TV series “Mare Fuori.” This partnership was born from their research and reinterpretation of traditional Mediterranean music as a reality without borders.
Their project is titled “Neshama” (Hebrew for “soul”) and is both powerful and refined; the sonic universe of Raiz’s voice intertwines with the rhythmic cadences and echoes of Radicanto’s strings.
Before the concert, there will be a toast to celebrate the holiday season, and at 6:30 pm, the display of Alysson Feit’s artwork will be inaugurated at the box office.
