On Monday, March 16, 2026, at 9:00 PM, a training webinar entitled “The Anti-Semitism Bill: Lights and Shadows” will be held. This session will provide a legal and institutional analysis of the bill to combat anti-Semitism.
The initiative, promoted by the AGE Association, will bring together scholars and experts from the academic and community worlds to examine the provision from various perspectives, with particular attention to its civil, criminal, administrative, and comparative aspects, as well as its implications for freedom of expression and protection against discrimination.
The proceedings will open with institutional greetings from Fabiana Di Porto, President of AGE, and Livia Ottolenghi, President of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities.
The general theme of the bill will be introduced by Celeste Vichi, President of the Union of Italy-Israel Associations (UAII).
This will be followed by presentations by Alessandra Casula, President of the Association for the Fight against Anti-Semitism (ALA), on civil law issues, and by Diletta Perugia (AGE) on criminal law issues.
Administrative aspects will be addressed by Sergio Foà of the University of Turin, while Bianca Gardella Tedeschi of the University of Eastern Piedmont and AGE will analyze the comparative profiles.
Giorgio Resta of Roma Tre University will focus specifically on the relationship between freedom of expression and the fight against anti-Semitism.
The closing remarks will be delivered by Giorgio Sacerdoti, President of the CDEC and member of AGE. The meeting will conclude with a discussion open to all participants.

The webinar will be held online upon registration using the registration form. This event is part of a series of training activities dedicated to legal and cultural updates on the protection of rights and the fight against discrimination.
