Marina Bassani performs “Red Rose,” the true story of Rosa Luxemburg.
Born in Poland in 1871 to a Jewish family, Rosa was shocked by the cruelty of the Tsarist regime. She joined the Social Democratic Party, and made justice and freedom her credo.
Prisoned several times for her opposition to the war, Rosa never stopped loving all of humanity.
