Rav Giuseppe Laras, a central figure of Italian Judaism and a survivor of the Shoah, dedicated his life to study, dialogue, and memory. Rabbi, teacher, and thinker, he promoted Jewish-Christian dialogue and the ethical value of memory as a foundation for building the future. His moral and intellectual legacy remains a guide of faith, culture, and humanity.
At the presentation of the Rassegna Mensile di Israel volume “Writings in Memory of Giuseppe Laras”, participants included one of the editors, Rav Gianfranco Di Segni, Rav Alberto Moshe Somekh, and Raffaello Levi.
