2026/2027 Meeting Series
15th Edition
Metaphysics in reality
In contemporary society, happiness takes on different meanings depending on the ethical perspective adopted and is, therefore, pursued in highly subjective ways. The topic also acquires economic and legal dimensions when considering the right to happiness enshrined in the constitutions of certain nations and the measurement of societal well-being. According to some Eastern sages, “there is no path to happiness; happiness is the path”—meaning that the journey toward Truth is itself a source that quenches one’s thirst.
It is a process of catharsis that transforms the individual, enabling them to face life’s trials with a new understanding that transcends personal limitations. Is it still possible today to achieve happiness understood as the pacification of the soul and a descent into the heart of certainty? At each gathering, key words guide the reflection shared among religious figures, secular thinkers, young people, and journalists.
Admission to these events is free, and they are open to a diverse audience of all ages and backgrounds. Each session involves an average of fifty attendees and four experts or religious representatives, with whom a discussion takes place at the end. The events are held at the Polo del ‘900, located at Via del Carmine 14 in Turin. They take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on dates specified in the annual program.
